How will I know if I won?
Winners are notified using the contact information supplied at entry. Outreach typically references the sponsor promotion name and includes clear next steps from CFA Promo.
Will CFA Promo ever ask me to pay to receive a prize?
No legitimate prize claim should require an upfront payment to CFA Promo. Taxes or sponsor-required charges are handled per official rules and applicable law.
Why do I need to complete an affidavit or tax form?
Affidavits confirm eligibility and acceptance of the prize. Tax documentation may be required for prizes above IRS reporting thresholds.
How long do I have to respond?
Deadlines are listed in official rules and winner notifications. Missing a deadline may result in selecting an alternate winner.
Who ships my prize?
Fulfillment may be handled by CFA Promo, the sponsor, or a fulfillment partner. Tracking details are shared when available.
What if I think a message is fraudulent?
Contact the sponsor’s official customer care channel or email eric@cfapromo.com from the address listed on cfapromo.com. Do not click suspicious links or send payments.
How do sweepstakes companies pick winners?
For a chance sweepstakes, winners are selected by random drawing from eligible entries, then verified against official rules. CFA Promo does not let a sponsor pick a favorite commenter. If you were drawn in a program we administered, notification uses the contact details you entered.
Do I need a lawyer for sweepstakes winnings?
You do not need a lawyer to claim a prize through CFA Promo’s winner process. Complete the affidavit and any tax forms requested in your notification. Prize value is often taxable income; CFA Promo cannot give legal or tax advice. For a large prize (cash, a car, a home), many winners consult a tax professional or attorney about withholding, estimated taxes, or prize-assignment options. We will never ask you to pay us up front to release a prize.
